EFAMA is holding its annual Investment Management Forum on 7-8 November 2018

The EFAMA IMF provides a platform for the industry, EU and global policymakers and regulators to continue their constructive dialogue from previous years and together continue building the future.

This year's conference will explore the opportunities ahead for the European asset management industry such as the realisation of the Capital Markets Union (CMU), the pan-European personal pension product (PEPP) and the emergence of sustainable finance, as well as other challenges such as continuing political uncertainty and global systemic risk.

Programme highlights:

  • Saving for retirement and the PEPP.
  • The role of asset managers in future economic growth.
  • Facilitating cross-border distribution of funds.
  • The vital role of sustainable finance and ESG investing as a central part of the CMU.
  • How to achieve further supervisory convergence without jeopardising practices deeply rooted in the business model of asset managers.
  • Brexit: which scenarios are likely to have the most impact?
  • IOSCO | European Systemic Risk Board: work at global level on the potential vulnerabilities of asset management activities.

All these topics will be discussed with the end-investor of today and tomorrow in mind!

Distinguished speakers will contribute to interactive debates and help us navigate through the issues of the day.

We will welcome as Gala Dinner Keynote Speaker Mr Herman Van Rompuy, President Emeritus of the European Council.
