On Tuesday, 18 November 2025, we held a public webinar on our AI System Assessment Tool as we prepared for the upcoming launch of the new and improved version 2.0. During the webinar, we presented the main updates, answered participants’ questions, and gathered feedback.
Since the release of the Tool, we have worked closely with EFAMA member experts to refine and expand its scope. The result was a version that goes beyond compliance, helping firms strengthen their AI governance, oversight, and risk-management frameworks.
Version 2 introduces:
• A stronger focus on business risk and technological aspects
• A new ‘lite’ version to support due diligence when engaging third-party AI vendors — designed to make compliance with frameworks such as DORA simpler and more practical.
