We are delighted to host the official launch of European Retirement Week 2026, the sixth edition of this joint initiative, which brings together stakeholders from across Europe to discuss the future of pensions. This in-person breakfast event will feature a keynote address by Maria Luís Albuquerque, European Commissioner for Financial Services and the Savings and Investments Union.

With negotiations on the European Commission’s Supplementary Pensions package underway, the event will explore key policy developments, ways to strengthen retirement income, and how to help close the pensions gap.

The European Retirement Week is a joint initiative of 14 associations, providing a platform for diverse stakeholders to exchange views on the future of pensions in Europe and raise citizens’ awareness of the pensions gap.
