On Tuesday, 27 May 2025, EFAMA held a one-day event in Brussels to examine the progress achieved in recent years on regulating DLT assets and the emergence of DLT-enabled platforms. The event explored how seriously asset managers should be looking at tokenisation and its benefits. Reduced costs, reduced time to market, greater access to liquidity, transparency, enhanced retail investor experience — the list of potential benefits is long. 

Participants heard directly from asset managers who had already taken the plunge, as well as from policymakers and regulators balancing the goals of growth, safety, and financial stability. Tech partners and academics outlined both the opportunities and risks of DLT. The event offered a rare chance to learn from leading industry voices while enjoying high-value, in-person networking.
