It's been more than four years since the European Commission first proposed raising the bar for how EU financial firms manage technology risk. With the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) taking effect on 17 January 2025, the rulebook remained incomplete and uncertainty remained about key aspects of the regime. Together with Linklaters, we hosted a webinar on DORA implementation on Wednesday 4 December 2024.

In this webinar, Linklaters’ regulatory experts, Raza Naeem and Simon Treacy, discussed the legal questions that had complicated firms’ implementation of the rules, gave an overview of how the industry addressed remaining uncertainties as it approached the DORA deadline day, and looked ahead to what happened next. Grainne Goodman, from M&G Asset Management, shared her insights on what DORA implementation looked like in practice.
