Long-term UCITS maintain positive momentum in June

Today, EFAMA has published its latest Monthly Statistical Release for June 2025.

 

Thomas Tilley, Senior Economist at EFAMA, commented on the June 2025 figures: All major categories of long-term UCITS recorded net inflows in June 2025, indicating that investors remained cautiously optimistic, despite ongoing uncertainty around trade tariffs.”

The main developments in June can be summarised as follows:

  • UCITS and AIFs recorded net inflows of EUR 66 billion, up from EUR 24 billion recorded in May 2025. 

  • UCITS recorded net inflows of EUR 58 billion, compared to EUR 57 billion in the previous month.

    • Long-term UCITS (UCITS excluding money market funds) saw net inflows of EUR 45 billion, down from EUR 71 billion in May. Of these, ETF UCITS attracted EUR 19 billion in net inflows, down from EUR 29 billion in May.

      • Equity funds registered net inflows of EUR 10 billion,  down from EUR 26 billion in May 2025.

      • Bond funds recorded net inflows of EUR 28 billion, compared to EUR 37 billion in May 2025.

      • Multi-asset funds recorded net inflows of EUR 5 billion, the same level as in May 2025. 

    • UCITS money market funds experienced net in​flows of EUR 13 billion, compared to net outflows of EUR 13 billion in May 2025. 

  • AIFs recorded net inflows of EUR 8 billion, compared to net outflows of EUR 33 billion in May 2025.

  • Total net assets of UCITS and AIFs increased by 0.3% to EUR 23.6 trillion.
